March, 2010
What an exciting few months this has been: Rummage Sale, Sisterhood Shabbat, and Women’s Seder. We’ve been really busy and having lots of fun!
The Rummage Sale was fabulous. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and Danna Sonnenberg and her team of Sara Kouts and Anita Weiss, with all their volunteers, did a great job! This year the Religious School joined us and had a Bake Sale, coordinated by Joanne Maury and Mindy Pollack.
The Sisterhood Shabbat was written by Dorothy Napp Schindel, Sue Docktor and Jane Bialosky and directed by Dorothy with Sue as stage manager, and Cantor Werby directed the music. What a tremendous amount of work for all concerned! But what a great finished project and such a true learning experience! Thanks to all the readers and members who provided the Oneg Shabbat.
The Women’s Seder was compiled by Cantor Werby and it was a wonderful event to add to our growing, exciting, Sisterhood functions. Charlene David brought this project to fruition with great planning and fabulous food brought by our Sisterhood members and Seder participants. Recipes are included.
